It's time for another Lilly Pulitzer After Party Sale and the big news is...

IT'S. OUR. LAST. ONE.

It's true. The end of an era. The end of a wild, super sweet journey with one of the most amazing lines. As much as we have enjoyed being a Lilly Pulitzer Specialty Store, we've decided it's best for our business to discontinue the line. It's a decision I've prayed about for months and when it came time to order Spring 2020, I knew we needed to switch things up.

So after countless trips to West Palm Beach and King of Prussia, PA (Lilly's headquarters) to order, I didn't make the trip in September to order Spring.

Why?

As seasonal minimums with Lilly crept higher and higher, I'm sure you noticed we had to discontinue other lines we've loved just to keep up (i.e. Jude Connally, Tyler Boe, etc...). Then when time to order even more in Spring 2020, I knew we would have to let another line(s) go. That's really when I knew it was time...

Also, as of earlier this year the brand stopped allowing us to sell online (all Lilly Pulitzer apparel/accessories. not Lifeguard Press which is Lilly Pulitzer licensed. That we can continue to sell online. Confusing, I know). With a growing e-commerce store and so many of you AWESOME online customers, well that just didn't seem fair. 

So, what's next?

What's next = aaaaaall the amazing possibilities of NEW lines, which I'm sure you've seen trickle in even over the past few months after our final decision about Lilly was made. We plan to fill our "Lilly section" with our also preppy & chic Southern Tide (will be your new go-to for solid shorts in the Summer, lightweight dresses, performance wear and more...) + our other high end lines you LOVE such as LaRoque, Crosby, Draper James and new lines you may soon see & love (more on that below). That leaves the rest of our store open to the fun contemporary fashion lines that mostly retail under $100! More affordable fashion you can scoop up weekly for all of your fun weekend events.

Y'all it is truly a decision that has been 100% bittersweet. Honored to have met this astounding entrepreneur and watch her work her magic...

I'm certainly sad to see it go. A line I've made so many memories while wearing over the past decade and will always be one of my favorites, but I'm also SO darn excited about the possibility of not only "new", but "more"...

You know on Fridays when visit scsugar.com or stop by to snag a new style from our Friday 10am launch and it's GONE?!? (Eeeeeek!!!!!) Well, we will soon order more depth in styles to give you ALL a chance to snag up some sweetness.

It's truly going to be an exciting year ahead.

One new line we are so thrilled that we went ahead and brought in during 2019 is Z Supply! You guys begged for it and we knew it would align perfectly with current brands and styles. It's been an instant hit and we look forward to sooo much more yummy Z Supply in 2020...

Next up, the hip LA line : CHASER

We brought in this line just before Christmas and as expected, you Clemson fans went W I L D over it ;) Chaser's "Easy Tiger" and vintage tiger tees have been a huge hit amongst Clemson fans in 2019 and with a possible national championship on the horizon, we're sure to keep the Chaser tiger tees coming!

ABOUT CHASER

This is a line we carried YEARS ago and while we loved, it became to way too saturated without zip code protection. AKA: everyone had it! Now, they've rebranded and are back with even more amazing styles that you'll be able to find exclusively in Greenwood at Sugar going forward in 2020! The price points are great and just fun, fun prints and colors. It's Southern Charm meets Bohemian vibe of the West Coast!

 So what's next in 2020? 

We're super excited to bring in this beautiful, feminine and chic line. Wow, it's simply gorgeous and you will not believe the quality. Superb. (especially for the price point) Oh and the designer lives in Charleston, SC!
