Easter weekend and our 12 year celebration recap!

First of all, THANK YOU. Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone who shopped online with us over the weekend! To everyone who simply "liked" a post on social media. Shared a photo in their story. Told a friend about us. ALL OF IT.

As a small business with a closed storefront for 28 days now, ALL OF IT means more now than ever. We are so grateful we have the option to continue selling online and trust me when I say, we are working even harder now than ever to get inventory up on the site, keep descriptions sharp and make sure you have the sweetest online shopping experience ever.

Shopping online with us during this crucial time ensures my employees (nope, not myself because they come FIRST. Always) get paid. It keeps the rent paid so we will continue to have our store front at 334 Main Street once this is all over. It keeps the lights on and the internet working, so we can fulfill these online orders quickly and efficiently. It also help us keep new, fun inventory trickling in here and there! We are just so darn grateful for every. single. order, so from the bottom of our hearts: thank you.

We have been busy fulfilling orders today and will continue to get the rest shipped tomorrow, so everyone can expect them by the end of the week! Even though the PARTY promo is over, we have resumed FREE SHIPPING site-wide (no promo code necessary) and will continue to post "Steals of the Day" each day. (We skipped Easter Sunday and kept the Southern Tide shorts up for two days instead of one :)

We hope everyone had a great Easter, as unusual as it was. I know it's one we will never forget. We sure missed our church family and a big dinner with both of our families. I usually go all out for Easter, but this year I am guilty of staying in my pjs all day. Yup. We all watched our church service online and listened to a lot of Natalie Grant (her daily live videos with her husband have been such a blessing!!! THIS ONE would be a top three fav) Then Chad and I cooked "brunch". Ok so all he really "cooked" was the grits because he is truly the "grits wizard" around here. We had a feast of tea rolls, quiche, grits, deviled eggs and pink lemonade pie. I'll have to post the recipe for that one because it's so insanely easy and it's PINK! There was also lots of napping and snuggles on this rainy, Easter Sunday. As a"busy body/workaholic", one thing this quarantine has taught me is to relish in this downtime and truly appreciate it. More time for what matters the most. I'm soaking it ALL in!

the boys did a great job dying eggs last week!

I will say, we also missed seeing everyone dressed in their "Sunday best" , but those who did tag us in your #sugswag on Instagram (whether it was dressy or just laid back lounge wear) y'all, it made our day. So keep tagging us and we will keep posting in our #sugswag highlight. At the end of each month, we'll pick a new winner for a $25 gift certificate. It's that easy!

Check back tomorrow for Tuesday Trends. I made a promise to myself yesterday to blog daily so I could stay in touch with you guys even more during quarantine, so let's see how long this will last. Oh and since we were in our pjs all day yesterday, here's 2019's Easter pic just because I love these PEEPS so much. (see what I did there? ;)

I'll say this over and over, but the words from my favorite hymn ring more true this year than ever...

"Because He lives, I can face tomorrow.

Because He lives, all fear is gone.

Because I know He holds the future...

and life is worth the living just because He lives"

We will get through this, friends. Keep the faith...and keep on praying!

Sending love and virtual hugs to all (and can't wait to give you all a big ol' hug in store again soooooon)

xo,

Sandi
